By Peter Kombe Former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar Sarai wants the auditor general to conduct a forensic audit of Mombasa county funds. Sarai, a gubernatorial hopeful wants the auditor general to audit the county’s funds for the last 10 years citing embezzlement. “The auditor general should audit the county’s funds for the past 10 years,” he noted. Sarai claims the county, under the leadership of Mombasa county governor Ali Hassan Joho has been engaging in graft. Sarai who is eyeing for the county's top seat further lauded the Kenya Kwanza coalition saying it is the only coalition with an agenda for the Coastal people. “Kenya kwanza is the only coalition that will address the plight facing coast residents,” he said.
