High court Justice John Onyiego has for the second time ordered that a child who had been earlier awarded to the father by a lower court which found the mother unfit to be shared among the couple. His judgement is notably similar to his first in which the mother failed to comply and vanished with the minor who has been missing for the better part of two weeks. According to his earlier ruling Justice John Onyiego’s stated, “If any party served with this order and fails to comply, with the same, shall be cited in contempt of court and is liable for a fine or imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months or both.” It is after the law caught up with her that the court delegated the lower court which promptly handed the child to then care of his father, former Scotland Yard Detective Kevin Hurley. Audit Mombasa county funds, auditor general told

By Peter Kombe Former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar Sarai wants the auditor general to conduct a forensic audit of Mombasa county funds. Sarai, a gubernatorial hopeful wants the auditor general to audit the county’s funds for the last 10 years citing embezzlement. “The auditor general should audit the county’s funds for the past 10 years,” he noted. Sarai claims the county, under the leadership of Mombasa county governor Ali Hassan Joho has been engaging in graft. Sarai who is eyeing for the county's top seat further lauded the Kenya Kwanza coalition saying it is the only coalition with an agenda for the Coastal people. “Kenya kwanza is the only coalition that will address the plight facing coast residents,” he said. Kilifi county Senatorial hopeful faults incumbent senator

Speaking in Jilore and Kakuyuni Kai claims the county lacks proper leadership to speaherhed development in the area.
