The ministry expressed concern on the impact of deforestation adding that it has tremendously contributed to the impacts of global warming. Speaking to journalists in Mombasa on Monday during the launch of the REDD+ academy, Ministry of Environment and Forestry Permanent secretary Betty Maina insisted that it is the responsibility of every Kenyan to conserve traditional forests. “When someone cuts a tree it is not the responsibility of the government but of the individual. The high end vehicles include a black Range Rover Sport Vogue Autobiography, a black range rover sport, a white Mercedes Benz GLE and a Black Range Rover Sports Autobiography.   A security multi agency team drawn from the Director of Criminal Investigation Kenya Revenue Authority, the Interpol Kenya, National Crime Agency and the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service NaVCIS based in the United Kingdom and local UK police from Sea Ports around London led the crackdown leading to the seizure. They were seized during the visit of the previous visit of the British High Commissioner to the Mombasa port on April 24 th 2019. The director further says the documentary will sensitize the public on the youth friendly facilities developed by the county that the public has little or no information about. “The county has sought our partnership so that we, DAYO can design a video documentary that will highlight the achievements in the health sector since 2013 to date,” said Seif. The documentary will pinpoint among other issues the satellite Coast General facilities erected by the county government over the past six years. BOTAX Kenya secretary general Cynthia Wanyonyi says information is key in ensuring that they progress in the sector. According to her, most women in the industry undergo a myriad of challenges thus making them dormant in the sector. “Some of the women in this industry go through several challenges this include among others lack of legal documents such as DL security threat from organized groups in main stages,” she noted.
