She says she could instead provide the motherly love that these kids missed. Speaking to the Pwani Media Network through an online conversation the 36 years old mum urged donors to come on board and assist the needy children. Doris says the children require resources such as infrastructure and a permanent home and a learning institution. “I call up on donors to come on board. My dream is to build a home for these kids, only that am undergoing through financial constraints” she said According to her the institution will ensure that they have an access to formal education like any other children. By Peter Kombe Mombasa county department of health in partnership with the directorate of Public Health Mombasa County has officially launched a lactating facility at Huduma Centre Mombasa County. Speaking to the Media in Mombasa on Tuesday Mombasa county executive in charge of health Hazel Khoitaba said the facility will enable lactating mothers breastfeed their babies as recommended by health experts. She says the opening of the facility is a major milestone as it is the first lactating facility in the entire republic. “This is the first one in this republic. Speaking to Pwani Media Network in Mombasa County director of Children Phillip Nzenge said the money will be wired directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries. He says the total amount which has accumulated to over 166 million for the past six months targets 13,840 beneficiaries in Mombasa County. “The amount accumulates to 166 million in Mombasa County. According to the human rights crusaders dozens of parents are unaware of their responsibilities in the implementation of the health policy. Speaking to Pwani Media Network on Friday Gaitano Muganda Ndalo , a Dream Achievers Youth Organization sexual reproductive health officer said as per the review of the national school health policy indicates that 33 per cent of the schools in Kenya had an access to the copies of the 2009 health policy.
