Wahudumu wa afya wa kujitolea kutoka nyanjani wameitaka serikali ya kaunti ya Mombasa kuweka mikakati thabiti ili waweze kupata mishahara ya kudumu.

Akizungumza na wanahabari kaunti ya Mombasa Jennifer Muthoni mmoja wa wahudumu hao kutoka Mikindani amesema wanapitia changamoto si haba wakati wanapowahudumia wanajamii.

Amesisitiza kuwa malipo hayo yataweza kukidhi baadhi ya mahitaji ya jamii zao huku akisema kuwa wana kazi ya ziada mashinani.

Vile vile, ameongeza kuwa wahudumu hao ni kiungo muhimu kwa jamii hasa ikizingatiwa kuwa huwasaidia maafisa wa afya mashinani.

Wakati uo huo,Charity Baya kutoka eneo bunge la Jomvu amesema serikali ya kaunti ina jukumu la kuwalipa wahudumu hao kufuatia kazi wanayoitekeleza mashinani.

Ameongeza kuwa wengi wao wamekosa ajira hivyo hutegemea sana huduma hiyo.

Charity aidha ameitaka serikali ya kaunti kuangazia kwa makini suala hilo ili wahudfumu hao waweze kupata mapato yatakayokidhi mahitaji yao.
