Shirika la kutetea haki za binadamu la Haki Afrika limeitaka serikali ya Kenya na Tanzania kuingilia kati ili kutafuta suluhu la haraka kufuatia kuzuiliwa kwa mkenya Hamisi Zuma Madilo nchini Tanzania.

Akitoa taarifa kwa vyombo vya habari afisa wa kitengo cha dharura wa shirika hilo Mathius Shipeta amesema shirika hilo limeghadhabishwa na hatua ya serikali ya Tanzania kumzuilia mkenya huyo asiyekuwa na hatia.

Ameongeza kuwa licha ya mataifa ya Kenya na Tanzania kutia saini mkataba wa wa makubaliano baina ya nchi hizi mbili maeneo ya mpakani bado mkataba huo unakiukwa.

Ametaja hatua ya kumzuilia mkenya huyo kama ukiukaji mkuu wa haki za binadamu.

Kulingana na taarifa ya hivi punde kutoka kwa afisa huyo maafisa wa shirika hilo wakiandamana na familia ya mhusika wako eneo la Horo Horo nchini Tanzania.

Mkenya huyo alikamatwa na maafisa wa mpakani nchini Tanzania usiku wa kuamkia siku kuu ya krismasi huku akiendelea kuzuiliwa hadi sasa.

Amezitaka idara husika nchini Tanzania kuheshimu sheria na haki za kibinadamu na kumuachilia huru mkenya huyo.

Mombasa Judge Gives Custody Of Minor to Her Sex Worker Mother

High court Justice John Onyiego has for the second time ordered that a child who had been earlier awarded to the father by a lower court which found the mother unfit to be shared among the couple. Invest more in reproductive health budget- activists petition Mombasa county government

By M warandu Randu Human rights crusaders championing for youth rights have called on the Mombasa county government to pump in more funds in the health kitty in order to boost reproductive health amongst the youth. Addressing journalists in Mombasa on Wednesday during an engagement forum organized by Dream Achievers Youth Organization, DAYO, Sheenan Mbau, an activist from the Centre for the Study of Adolescence, CSA said accessing information regarding reproductive health among the youth is still a challenge. “I’m urging the county government of Mombasa to invest more in the health budget.
